Job Summary
The Operations Support Manager guarantees smooth and efficient practice operation while providing HR administrative support to the practice team. Working closely with the Operations Manager and leadership team, you’ll support day‑to‑day delivery, HR processes, workflow coordination and service improvements. The role requires confidentiality, attention to detail and cross‑team collaboration.
Main Responsibilities
- HR administration support (recruitment, pre‑employment checks, onboarding/off‑boarding, probation reviews, training and appraisal preparation, payroll preparation).
- Support other non‑clinical teams during absences or high workload (patient registrations, data entry, reception, call taking).
- Maintain electronic HR files and policy repository.
- Manage Management Team diary, covering internal and external meetings.
- Lead weekly “hassle huddle” meetings with non‑clinical teams, acting as escalation point.
- Provide planning support for the Patient Participation Group.
- Assist Operations Manager with additional administrative tasks.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, effective working area.
- Complete mandatory training, induction and annual appraisal.
- Act as a trained Fire Warden and Mental Health First Aider.

Experience and Qualifications

- Flexibility to work outside core office hours.
- Disclosure & Barring Service check.
- Compliance with Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ESR 1975).
