Certain Advantage is hiring for a Project Engineer based in West Kilbride. This role is on a contract basis and is office-based.

The Company: We’re working with a UK nuclear company responsible for safely decommissioning and restoring former nuclear power and research sites across the UK.

The Role: This role is for a Project Engineer—someone ambitious and ready to make an impact. You’ll be results-orientated and driven to succeed. You’ll be working in a small, experienced, and collaborative team, and be responsible for:

  • Physical testing on the plant
  • Production of maintenance and Plant Operating instructions
  • Requirement to raise faults and resolutions and fault observations
  • Production of site documentation
  • Risk assessments
  • Design change process and implementation

The Individual: We’re looking for people who can show:

  • Commissioning background with exposure to testing
  • Engineering background (Mechanical, Electrical, C & I or Civil) in an industrial plant
  • Nuclear and/or conventional project engineering
  • Working knowledge of CDM Design
  • Contract Management
  • Project delivery
