Certain Advantage is hiring for a Systems Engineer based in the Portsmouth area. This role is on a contract basis and is hybrid-based.
The Company: We are working with a Manufacturing business that operates in the Aerospace sector. They design, manufacture and deliver industry-leading commercial aircraft, and a separate Space and Defence division.
The Role: This role is for a Systems Engineer who is ambitious and ready to make an impact. You will be results-oriented and driven to succeed. You will be working in a small, experienced, and collaborative team, and be responsible for:
- Designing a compliant equipment installation design with associated test plans and compliance evidence.
- All aspects of the system lifecycle from initial design through installation to customer handover.
- Identifying mitigations and responses to NH and producing NH analysis.
The Individual: We are looking for people who can show:
- Familiarity with Nuclear Hardening standards.
- Knowledge of NH analysis, test specifications, test procedures, test setups, and test data.
- System-level NH design, development and solutions, including GFE environments and mitigations.
- NH Equipment selection.
- Practical knowledge of the installation of electrical equipment, including rack installation and compliant cabling.
