3 days onsite in London starting ASAP initially until 31st Dec. Are you an experienced Business Analyst who wants to help support the expansion of AI enabled products within a globally renowned top tier energy and commodities trading business? We’re seeking Senior Business Analysts who can offer experience of:

  • Working within a Commodities Trading organisation
  • Working on delivering AI, ML or highly advanced data analytics solutions

As a Senior BA you’ll be acting as an important bridge between business and technology teams, translating complex commodities trading business challenges into digital and AI-enabled solutions. As an experienced business analyst applying for this role you’ll be doing the below, and be expected to talk through this experience with confidence:

  • Lead discovery, analysis, process modelling and requirements definition activities across multiple strategic initiatives.
  • Translate business opportunities and operational challenges into actionable functional and technical requirements.
  • Facilitate workshops with traders, schedulers, operators, commercial teams, product owners and technology teams.
  • Define user stories, business processes, capability maps, acceptance criteria and business outcomes.
  • Drive solution alignment across business, product and engineering teams.

For context any relevant Data/AI/ML projects experience that aligns well with the below should be highlighted in your CV:

  • Experience delivering AI, Machine Learning or Advanced Analytics solutions.
  • Understanding of Gen AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).
  • Experience converting business requirements into AI use cases.
  • Familiarity with AI product lifecycles and adoption challenges.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI and Generative AI capabilities within trading and commercial workflows.
  • Work closely with AI engineers, data scientists, and developers to define and deliver AI-enabled solutions.
  • Support product discovery, MVP definition, and scaling of successful AI products.
  • Translate business use cases into requirements suitable for AI and Large Language Model (LLM) based solutions.
  • Evaluate business value and adoption opportunities for AI-enabled products.

Prior experience with the common technologies found within enterprise energy commodities trading and supply organisations is preferred, e.g. Endur, Allegro, Openlink, RightAngle, SAP, Veson Trading Data Platforms, Commodity Risk Management Systems.
