Certain Advantage are hiring for a Procurement Specialist based in Filton. This role is on an initial contract basis till the end of the year 2026 and is hybrid.

Your responsibilities:

  • Implement the Procurement strategy defined by the Multi-Functional Team (MFT), including supplier development activities during development and serial production phases.
  • Define and manage the surveillance decision tree and surveillance plan for the Product/Supplier site couple, ensuring alignment with industrial and quality objectives.
  • Lead and verify compliance of suppliers and products with all applicable organisation’s requirements, procedures, and quality standards in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure On Time and On Quality deliveries by monitoring supplier capability, industrial maturity, and operational performance throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Identify, raise, and escalate risks, deviations, and in-service issues while ensuring corrective actions, recovery plans, and follow-up activities are effectively managed.
  • Contribute to supplier approval, supplier control reviews, APQP deployment, inspections, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives within Supply Chain & Quality operations.

The individual:

  • Accountable for implementing Supply Chain & Quality contributions to the MFT and supporting supplier engagement, selection, and contract setup activities.
  • Accountable for establishing, maintaining, and archiving surveillance decision trees, risk portfolios, and surveillance plans for assigned suppliers and products.
  • Accountable for verifying supplier compliance and convergence toward industrial maturity targets, including capability, capacity, and quality performance.
  • Accountable for supporting supplier approval activities, Supplier Control Reviews (SCR), segmentation, and identification of supplier development needs.
  • Accountable for ensuring proper execution of inspections and quality assurance activities such as First Article Inspection (FAI), Source Inspection, Incoming Inspection, and Nadcap-related activities.
  • Accountable for providing accurate reporting, escalation, and relevant operational inputs to the Lead-SCQM, while identifying activities that may be delegated to SCQS when appropriate.
