The Role
We are looking for a multi-disciplinary Mechanical Engineer to handle the installation, maintenance, and commissioning of critical mechanical systems. From new builds to major refits, you will ensure our fleet meets the highest classification standards (Lloyd's/DNV).
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and service fuel, hydraulic, cooling, and steering systems.
- Align and commission engines, gearboxes, and shaft lines.
- Perform fault-finding and overhauls on mechanical and electro-mechanical components.
- Assist with system testing and harbour trials for new projects.
What We Are Looking For
Essential: Time-served Marine Engineer or a recognised engineering apprenticeship.
Experience: Proven track record in mechanical installation and the ability to interpret technical drawings. Strong diagnostic skills and a commitment to high workmanship standards. We welcome applicants from related heavy engineering sectors (Plant, Offshore, HGV, or Defence) with transferable skills.
