World Class Defence Organisation based in Bolton is currently looking to recruit a Night Shift General Maintenance Operator on initial 12 month contract and then ongoing and long-term thereafter.
Contract Duration: 12 Months (initially and then ongoing thereafter)
Hourly Rate: £39.50ph
We are looking for a reliable and proactive General Maintenance Operator to join our team and support the Calibration and Maintenance department in ensuring the facility and equipment remain safe, compliant, and operational.
Responsibilities include:
- Support the Calibration & Maintenance department with general maintenance activities across the facility.
- Carry out routine facility compliance activities including:
- ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) testing throughout the facility
- Electrical Safety Testing of equipment and portable appliances
- LEV (Local Exhaust Ventilation) filter changes and associated maintenance tasks
- Assist with planned preventative maintenance activities and respond to general maintenance requirements as needed.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all documentation and paperwork are completed correctly and on time.
Development & Progression: This role offers opportunities for progression within the Calibration & Maintenance department.
