World Class Defence Organisation based in Bolton, Lancashire is currently looking to recruit a number of Development and Production Test Engineer - Electronic/Electrical subcontractors on an initial 12 month contract.
Looking for somebody with substantial test engineering experience, including:
- Diagnosis of test failures
- Testing experience down to component level
The department are keen to hear from candidates from a background with Electronics, RF, Microwave skills or candidates that have strong Test, Diagnostics, Repair Engineering skills.
Contract Duration: 12 Months (initially and then ongoing and long-term thereafter)
Hourly Rate: £37 per hour
As a Production Test Engineer - Electronics, you will play a vital role in supporting testing and diagnostics of electrical/electronic sub-systems and circuit cards during the production phase of the product lifecycle. You will use your experience to provide technical support to the manufacturing test capability, to ensure programme targets are met to agreed time, cost and quality requirements.
Responsibilities:
You will be working with a small team of dedicated engineers in a fast-paced but friendly and inclusive manufacturing environment, carrying out the following:
Providing test engineering support to operators on the shopfloor, including supporting the introduction of new tests.
