Certain Advantage is hiring for a Project Manager based in London. This role is on an initial contract basis till the end of the year 2026 and is hybrid, with 3 days per week onsite and the remainder working remotely.
You will manage projects valued at up to 5 million, leading teams of up to 20 people to deliver business objectives within agreed timescales, budgets, quality standards, and risk parameters.
The Role
- Proven experience in operational project management, with a strong focus on service stabilisation, operational excellence, and risk reduction.
- Extensive support and operations management experience, including service performance, stability, availability, incident management, problem management, and operational expenditure (OPEX) management.
- Experience owning and driving Digital Employee Experience (DEX) sustainability initiatives and continuous improvement activities.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure and operational environments, including capacity management, resilience planning, production and non-production environments, and change freeze governance.
- Deep understanding of Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs), including performance, availability, recoverability, and supportability, with the ability to define and measure meaningful success criteria.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify recurring root causes, uncover systemic issues, and implement sustainable solutions.

- Proven experience delivering medium to large-scale projects within complex organisations.
- Strong knowledge of project delivery frameworks, governance, and controls.
- Experience managing project risks, budgets, resources, and stakeholders.
- Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
- A proactive, resilient approach with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Experience working within Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments.
