Supply Chain Planner (Data & Analytics Focused)

Certain Advantage is hiring for a Supply Chain Planner based in Leeds for a global leader in power solutions, supporting customers across a wide range of industries.

This role is on a fixed-term contract basis till February 2027 (with a strong likelihood of extension) and is hybrid, requiring a minimum of 3 days per week onsite.

The position is full-time, working 37.5 hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Planning and maintaining daily supply chain operations across key functional areas.
  • Analysing planning data and KPIs to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Monitoring and optimising planning system parameters to improve supply chain performance.
  • Executing daily operational planning activities within your assigned area.
  • Identifying potential supply chain risks and supporting mitigation plans.
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver short-term operational improvements.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and participating in process improvement projects.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills with experience processing and interpreting data.
  • A good understanding of supply chain principles, ideally gained in manufacturing, logistics or a related environment.
  • A degree (BSc or BA) or equivalent experience within Supply Chain or a similar analytical discipline.
  • Experience working with supplier performance management would be advantageous.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with data and planning teams to improve planning outcomes.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.
