World Class Defence Organisation is currently looking to recruit an Embedded C Software Engineer on an initial 6 month contract.
Rate: 70.00 per hour
Location: Stevenage
Hybrid / Remote working: Onsite however a 4 day working week (Monday to Thursday) is available.
Contract: 37 Hours per week
Overtime: Hours worked over 37 hours per week will be calculated at time and a quarter
Duration: 6 Months (initially and then ongoing and long-term thereafter)
IR35 status: Inside IR35 (Umbrella)
We are a world leader in missile and missile systems looking for highly capable and adaptable Engineers to join our Development Facility in Stevenage, Hertfordshire. You will be responsible for developing the software through the full lifecycle for safety related real-time systems application software for the next generation of Missile Systems. This is a technical hands-on role working the full software lifecycle.
Responsibilities:- You will be responsible for delivering the on-board software for the next generation of Missile Systems.
- This is a hands-on role and will involve architecting, designing, implementing and testing missile subsystem software.
- Good ability to debug complex problems and be able to produce required documentation to achieve the required safety level.
- Authoring Specifications through the full lifecycle.
