We are looking for a Building Services Engineer to provide critical technical support across a diverse range of non‑nuclear and nuclear facilities. From state‑of‑the‑art new builds to the delicate refurbishment of heritage‑listed dockyard structures, you will ensure our infrastructure is safe, compliant, and fit for the future of national defence.

You will work transparently with multidisciplinary teams to develop HVAC, electrical, and mechanical solutions that support key delivery projects. Key Responsibilities
- Refine conceptual and detailed designs for HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems using advanced CAD/BIM tools.
- Undertake feasibility studies, site investigations, and risk assessments as projects move from inception to commissioning.
- Compile and peer‑review technical reports, ensuring all modifications align with safety standards and nuclear regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with civil, structural, and process engineers, as well as nuclear safety experts, to ensure seamless system integration and compliance.
- Develop design mitigation strategies to address operational risks and maintain documentation supporting safety cases.
Experience Requirements
- A Degree (or equivalent) in Building Services, Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
- Proven ability to develop requirement specifications and detailed engineering drawings for complex industrial layouts.
- Proficiency in CAD/BIM tools for accurate blueprinting and modeling.
- A logical yet creative problem‑solver who can navigate ambiguous environments and changing project requirements.
- Experience within the Nuclear, MoD, Marine, or Defence sectors desirable.
