We are looking for a dynamic Supply Chain and Quality Manager to join our clients Procurement Supply Chain Operations team. You will be the primary interface for the "Detail Parts" portfolio—a critical global commodity supporting the Sparrow perimeter. From machined long-bed components to hot-formed metallic products for aircraft wings, you will be accountable for the sustainable performance, industrial maturity, and development of a worldwide supplier base.
Key Accountabilities
- Act as the lead interface for all operational activities, ensuring On Time and On Quality (OTOQ) performance.
- Manage supplier quality approvals and ensure strict adherence to mandatory certifications (QMS, Nadcap, etc.).
- Monitor New Product Introduction (NPI) and Transfer of Work (ToW) to ensure maturity before moving into serial production.
- Conduct capacity and capability assessments; identify industrial risks and implement robust recovery and mitigation plans.
- Lead supplier performance improvement projects and contribute to strategic selection during tendering phases.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience in Supply Chain, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, or Customer Support.
- An engineering background is a significant asset, particularly involving metallic products (machined or formed).
- Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems and industry regulations (AS9100, Nadcap, EMS).
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects and manage diverse stakeholders in a multicultural environment.
- Excellent facilitation skills.
- Proficiency in European languages (French, German, or Spanish) is highly desirable given our global supplier footprint.
- You are autonomous, act with high integrity, and are comfortable with frequent business travel across the UK and internationally.
