World Class Defence Organisation is currently looking to recruit a Mechanical Design Engineer subcontractors on an initial 6 month contract. This role would suit a Mechanical Design Engineer who comes from a strong Defence or Aerospace background and has strong Creo / PRO-E skills.
Rate: £50.00 per hour
Location: Stevenage or Bristol – depending on your preference
Hybrid / Remote working: 4 days a week likely onsite (likely could be lower on a week by week basis; depending on work). 1 day remote. (flexible on start and finish time). A compressed 4 day week (Monday to Thursday) a possibility.
Contract: 37 Hours per week
Overtime: Hours worked over 37 hours per week will be calculated at ‘time and a quarter’
Duration: 6 Months (initially and then ongoing and long-term thereafter)
IR35 status: Inside IR35 (Umbrella)
An opportunity to become part of Europe’s No. 1 Missile Systems Designer, as a Mechanical Design Engineer. You will work closely with other functional teams, to develop products to meet our customer’s needs. Within this role you will have the opportunity to undertake cutting-edge research of novel mechanical technologies to meet the challenges of tomorrow.
