Oportunity for a Time Served Electrical Fitter to join our clients electrical manufacturing department. You will play a key role in the build, assembly, and certification of mission-critical products.

The Role

As an Electrical Fitter, you will be responsible for the end-to-end manufacturing and testing of electrical components. You won’t just be building; you will be the guardian of quality, certifying your own work and ensuring every product meets rigorous industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform complex electrical wiring and assembly tasks in accordance with defined workmanship standards.
  • Take ownership of quality by certifying your own work in line with company procedures and maintaining approvals through regular audits.
  • Utilize a wide range of tools, equipment, and measuring instruments to meet precise build and test specifications.
  • Ensure all manufacturing data packs and paperwork are completed accurately while meeting strict project timescales and budgets.
  • Contribute to a safe, clean, and efficient working environment through proactive process improvement suggestions.

To be successful in this role, you must hold a formal qualification via one of the following routes:

  • Approved Apprenticeship Framework (Modern/Standard).
  • City & Guilds Parts 1, 2 & 3 (with associated Vocational Units/Further Education).
  • NVQ Level 3 / BTEC ONC/HNC in a relevant electrical discipline.

Desirable Skills:

  • IPC 610 certification or training (Highly Preferred).
  • Previous experience within the Aerospace or Defence industry.
  • Certified training in Manual Handling, Lifting & Slinging (including overhead cranes), and ESD protocols.
