Aerospace R&T Manufacturing Engineer
Certain Advantage is hiring for a Manufacturing Engineer based in the Filton area. This role is on a contract basis and is site-based.
The Company: We’re working with a Manufacturing business that operates in the Aerospace sector. They design, manufacture and deliver industry-leading commercial aircraft, and a separate Space and Defence division.
The Role: This role is for an Aerospace R&T Manufacturing Engineer—someone ambitious and ready to make an impact. You’ll be results-oriented and driven to succeed. You’ll be working in a small, experienced, and collaborative team, and be responsible for:
- Development and delivery of an industrial plan for wing research.
- Working with the jigs and tooling team, and component suppliers.
- Generation and validation of manufacturing capability documentation.
- Working across the design and manufacturing.
The Individual: We’re looking for people who can show:
- Manufacturing engineering or production environment and familiarity with production processes.
- Aerospace structures (understanding the key structural components and manufacturing techniques associated with aircraft wings).
- CAD tools, specifically CATIA V5.
