Following our first birthday this November, we are looking to recruit an exceptional, experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our growing team.

Why Join Us? Our custom renovated site located just off Tattenhall High Street boasts a double operating theatre, separate dental suite, in house lab and separate dog and cat wards, and is proving a bright and comfortable working space for our growing team. We have plenty of kit – digital x-ray, ultrasound, dental x-ray and a newly expanded Idexx suite – and like to keep as much work in house as possible with occasional help from peripatetic surgeons and imagers. We have ISFM gold accreditation and are awaiting completion of the RCVS practice standards accreditation at GP Level. We are lucky to have a fantastically loyal and motivated client base, and we pride ourselves on being part of this rural community. Our 30‑minute consultations ensure we have plenty of time to get to know our patients whilst working up cases thoroughly and to a high standard. Our team currently consists of two vets, three amazing RVNs, three receptionists and a part‑time VCA. As we recruit more vets we will look to continually reassess and build the team to ensure everyone feels supported.

What are we looking for? We are looking for a motivated and pro‑active veterinary surgeon with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role. They should be confident and competent with all aspects of general practice, including occasional sole‑charge work. We are looking for a vet with a genuine love for the job, a caring nature and an energetic enthusiasm for whatever the day might bring. They must have excellent interpersonal skills to build client rapport and be a genuine team player – willing to step in to help colleagues with clinical work or case discussions alike. We are committed to equality of opportunity for all and welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds.

At least 2 full working days Participation in the Saturday morning rota. Please include preferred working hours/patterns and notice period. CVs will be collected through December with a view to interviews in the New Year.
