This is a physically demanding, customer-facing retail role involving prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, heavy lifting and carrying plants, pots, compost and stock. Duties include providing plant care advice, watering and maintaining houseplants, replenishing stock, creating displays, processing deliveries and assisting customers with heavy purchases.
The role requires physical stamina, good communication skills, horticultural knowledge, attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a busy retail environment. The ability to work independently and as part of a team, alongside basic numeracy and IT skills, is essential.
