This is a fantastic opportunity to become a Deputy Facilities Manager based in their York office.
What you'll be doing:
As Deputy Facilities Manager, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day running of our York site. You will ensure the building remains safe, welcoming and efficient for staff, visitors and tenants.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing facilities operations such as cleaning, security, repairs and maintenance
- Managing meeting rooms and liaising with tenants
- Ensuring the workplace is compliant, accessible, comfortable and well-presented
- Working closely with and deputising for the Facilities Manager based in Newcastle when required
Experience required:
- Proven experience in a facilities management role
- A facilities management qualification or relevant building services, estate management or construction-related qualification
- IOSH Occupational Health and Safety qualification (or equivalent)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence using IT systems, including MS Office and CAFM software
