Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join the Senior Leadership Team and lead the people function within a fast-growing, regulated organisation. This is a senior, hands-on role responsible for ensuring workforce stability, legal compliance and a high-performance organisational culture. Acting as a trusted advisor to the CEO, you will balance strategic leadership with day-to-day delivery, particularly in employee relations, workforce planning and organisational change.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the CEO and SLT to deliver commercially aligned HR strategy
  • Lead all employee relations activity, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance and change management
  • Ensure full compliance with UK employment law, data protection and regulatory requirements
  • Oversee workforce planning, recruitment and on-boarding across all functions
  • Drive engagement, performance management and leadership accountability
  • Manage payroll, reward and benefits governance
  • Lead HR systems, data, reporting and audit readiness
  • Deliver HR transformation initiatives, including policy modernisation and process improvement

About You

  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
  • Experience operating in a standalone or senior HR leadership role
  • Proven ability to manage complex ER cases and organisational risk
  • Confident influencing at CEO and senior leadership level
  • Commercial, pragmatic and delivery-focused
  • Experience in regulated or fast-growth environments is desirable
