Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- A strong team player with the ability to collaborate well with colleagues in a small team environment, while also being comfortable working independently when needed.
- Willingness to travel to and from customer sites as part of the role, sometimes at short notice, to provide on-site service and support.
- Occasional short-term working away from home will be required for specific projects or urgent tasks.
- Required to participate in a call‑out rota (1 in 8 weeks), providing emergency service and support for clients.
Minimum Experience:
- 2 years as a Roller Shutter Engineer, with a proven track record in servicing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Roller Shutter doors.
- Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Ability to work well in a small team or independently.
- Full UK driving license.
- Successful security screening is required for this role.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Certifications such as DHF, IPAF, CSCS/ECS, FIA, or a City & Guilds /NVQ in relevant disciplines are highly desirable and will be considered a strong asset.
- Considering applicants with all or single discipline providing you are willing to train.
- Successful candidate must complete and pass a full CTC security vetting clearance.
