We are currently recruiting for a Part-Time Commercial Internal Sales Administrator to join our client's friendly and established team based in Welwyn Garden City. This is a permanent, fully office-based position offering flexibility around working hours. Ideally, the role will be 3 days per week, 9:00am - 5:00pm. However, our client is happy to consider applicants looking for school hours over 4 days, provided Monday is one of the working days. The role offers 20-25 hours per week, with occasional flexibility required during busier periods to meet business needs.

This opportunity would suit a proactive, organised individual with excellent communication and administrative skills who enjoys working within a small, supportive team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing, logging and following up commercial quotations for clients.
  • Managing sales orders, ensuring accurate processing from receipt through to delivery.
  • Making business-to-business calls to an existing client base (no cold calling).
  • Maintaining accurate customer records on the in-house CRM system.
  • Updating the company's social media platforms, including LinkedIn and Facebook.
  • Assisting with the general upkeep of the company website alongside the external web provider.
  • Providing general administrative support as required.
About You
  • You live within a reasonable commuting distance of Welwyn Garden City.
  • You have excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • You are confident speaking with existing business customers over the phone.
  • You are highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • You have strong administrative experience and are confident using Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Experience with social media for business is desirable.
