Development Officer, Collection Committees
Job Introduction
Join us to help fundraise for Tate’s mission to make art accessible for all; to help drive Tate into the future, working with inspiring content and ground-breaking projects, in amazing spaces, and as part of a passionate, inclusive and welcoming team.
The Officer, Collection Committees provides support to the Head of Collection Committees & Patrons and the Manager, Collection Committees in sustaining the activities of Tate's Acquisitions Committees, a network of philanthropic giving groups whose supporters make annual donations that collectively support art acquisitions and related activity within each Committee's focus area. In this role, you will play a key role in ensuring excellent donor care by managing the overall administration of the Acquisitions Committees.
This will include supporting the planning and delivery of formal Committee meetings, one-off cultivation events in London and multi-day research programmes internationally; coordinating communications; researching new prospective supporters and ensuring an efficient process for requesting annual donations; and acting as the first point of contact for supporters.
You will be an excellent communicator with demonstrable administrative, organisation and planning skills gained in an environment where strong relationship management and excellent customer service is essential. Your proactive approach, together with excellent time management skills, will allow you to juggle competing priorities and work effectively across teams to deliver to deadlines. Your numeracy and attention to detail will enable you to accurately track and report on income, team expenditure and the status of artworks acquired with the Committees' support.
We don’t accept CVs, so please complete all sections of the form, including your education and work history. Use this space to share specific examples of what you’ve done and how you work.
