About the Role
As a Supply Planner, you\’ll be the central link connecting demand, supply and inventory. Your work will ensure goods flow efficiently through the end‑to‑end supply chain, supporting both operational accuracy and long‑term business goals.
You\’ll take ownership of supply planning activities, develop clear forecasts, oversee supplier performance and maintain the right inventory levels across the network.
Collaboration is key as you\’ll partner closely with teams across sales, finance, logistics, production and customer service to ensure alignment and deliver outstanding service.
This is a highly visible role where your insights, communication and ability to anticipate challenges will directly support business growth, change initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
What You\’ll Be Doing
Demand Forecasting
Analyse data trends, historical information and business forecasts to build robust demand projections.
Work alongside sales, marketing and finance to gather market insights and refine forecasts.
Track forecast accuracy and implement improvements where needed.
Supply Planning
Create and manage supply plans that meet demand while optimising stock levels.
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure materials and products arrive on time.
Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock.
Inventory Management
Maintain the balance between availability and cost by managing optimal stock levels.
Oversee regular stock checks, reviews and reconciliations.
Identify risk areas such as slow‑moving or obsolete items and propose solutions.
Supplier Management
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to support reliable supply.
Negotiate terms to maximise value and service levels.
Monitor performance and address any issues promptly.
Order Management
Oversee purchase order creation, accuracy and timely processing.
Track order progress and collaborate with logistics to ensure on‑time delivery.
Troubleshoot discrepancies quickly and effectively.
Cross‑Team Collaboration
Work in partnership with production, logistics, sales and customer service to keep supply plans aligned with business priorities.
