Tate is working with a global supply chain solutions provider, renowned for delivering top-tier logistical services to some of the world's most iconic brands. They're on the lookout for a proactive and analytical Supply Planner to join their dynamic team.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Forecasting Demand: Using historical data and market insights to build accurate demand forecasts. Collaborate with sales, marketing and finance to refine projections and improve forecast accuracy.
- Planning Supply: Create and manage supply plans that align with demand forecasts. Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Managing Inventory: Balance stock levels to meet customer needs while minimising excess. Conduct regular reviews and address slow-moving or obsolete items.
- Supplier Engagement: Build strong supplier relationships, negotiate terms and monitor performance to ensure reliability and cost-effectiveness.
- Order Oversight: Handle purchase orders from placement to delivery. Resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth order flow.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with teams across production, logistics, sales and customer service to align supply chain activities with business goals.
