Tate Eats is a hospitality business supporting the vision and reach of Tate across all four of its galleries, returning all profits to the museum to champion the right to the richness of art for everyone. The business runs restaurants, cafés, bars, and delivers events ranging from film premieres to boardroom lunches, while pioneering a roastery committed to gender equality in the coffee supply chain.
We are looking for a talented and ambitious Senior Chef de Partie to join the Tate Modern kitchen teams. This is a full-time, permanent position. The ideal candidate is reliable, consistent, and able to work flexible hours over a five-day week, including weekends, with a maximum of two evening shifts per week. The role spans a variety of kitchen areas: Production kitchen, Restaurant kitchen, Events kitchen, Pizza kitchen, and Staff Canteen.
The kitchen works closely with premium suppliers, showcasing the best in British meat, fish, and vegetables. State-of-the-art equipment and multiple kitchen spaces nurture creative flavour and menu development. Working in line with the gallery hours gives chefs the freedom to create, explore new dishes, and maintain an excellent work-life balance.
