Private Client Solicitor – Court of Protection

Location: Leighton Buzzard
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 (dependent on experience)
Working Arrangement: Hybrid (Monday and Thursday in the office)

Are you a dedicated solicitor with over 2 years of Court of Protection experience? We’re looking for a talented individual to join a busy and dynamic team of 10 at a reputable law firm in Leighton Buzzard. If you have a strong work ethic, learn quickly, and are passionate about managing high-value cases, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage Court of Protection case files and PI Trusts cases.
  2. Efficiently submit Court of Protection applications.
  3. Delegate work to junior staff members and support their training.
  4. Meet daily chargeable hour targets.
  5. Ensure compliance and maintain accurate case file records.
  6. Write articles and engage in networking/business development.
  7. Ensure the accuracy of legal information on the website.
  8. Attend relevant training sessions.
  9. Provide ad hoc support within the private client team.

Experience & Skills:

  1. Minimum of 3 years as a Private Client Solicitor/Legal Executive, Grade B or C.
  2. Exceptional time management and attention to detail.
  3. Experience in drafting Court of Protection applications.
  4. Ability to work independently and prioritise workload.
  5. Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to developing relationships and business.
