Operations Planner\\n\\nLocation: Southampton – Hybrid (1 day per week WFH)\\n Salary: To £30,000 per annum\\n\\nOur client, a global leader in the supply of products and services to the travel industry, is seeking an organised and proactive Operations Planner to join their team. This role involves planning and coordinating visits for the Technical Support team to cruise line clients, managing travel logistics, liaising with clients, providing administrative support, and maintaining accurate operational records.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities\\n\\nVisit & Travel Coordination\\n\\nPlan and schedule vessel visits (day visits and sailings) for the Technical Support team.\\nMaintain and regularly update the vessel visit log, ensuring proactive management of upcoming visits.\\nArrange travel and accommodation for the Technical Support team and CEO.,Client Liaison\\n\\nAct as the main point of contact for cruise line clients, coordinating vessel access and visit logistics.Report Monitoring\\n\\nTrack and monitor follow-up reports from Technical Officer vessel visits.\\nEnsure completed reports are distributed to the appropriate vessel contacts and Account Managers.Administrative Support\\n\\nTrack and manage Lieu Day balances for the technical team.\\nOversee ordering and inventory of uniforms, tools, and stationery.\\nMaintain accurate records of purchases, deliveries, and technical supply usage.Documentation & Reporting\\n\\nMaintain a central log of all vessel visits, follow-up actions, and report submissions.\\nProduce routine planning and performance reports for internal use.Team & Office Support\\n\\nWork closely with the Technical Support team to understand visit requirements.\\nSupport onboarding of new Technical Officers, including arranging travel and uniforms.\\nEnsure all Technical Officers and Account Managers have prepared tool bags and accessories for visits.\\nMaintain PPE in the workshop, including goggles, eyewash, and first aid kits.Skills & Experience Required\\n\\nProven experience in planning, scheduling, or coordination-preferably within a marine or maritime environment.\\nExceptional organisational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.\\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills with a confident, client-facing approach.\\nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).\\nAble to work to deadlines and manage time-sensitive tasks such as report follow-up and delivery.\\nKnowledge of cruise line or maritime operations is highly desirable.Personal Attributes\\n\\nHighly organised, proactive, and adaptable.\\nProfessional, reliable, and discreet when handling confidential information.\\nA strong team player with a collaborative approach.\\nAble to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities.If you are interested in this position and have the skills and experience please don't hesitate to APPLY.\\n\\nPlease be aware this advert will remain open until the vacancy has been filled.
