We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join Tate’s Finance Department on a permanent, full-time basis.

This role will support the efficient and effective delivery of financial operations across Tate, its subsidiaries and associated charities.

The Accounts Team plays an important role in ensuring that financial transactions are processed accurately, suppliers and customers are supported, and financial records are maintained to a high standard.

Working across accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking and general finance administration, this role helps support the wider Finance function, including month-end processes, audit, financial control and reporting.

You will bring good numerical skills, strong attention to detail and excellent organisation skills.

You will be confident working to deadlines, able to communicate clearly with colleagues and suppliers, and committed to delivering a high level of customer service.

Previous experience in an administrative support role is essential, and experience of accounts processing or working in a computerised finance environment would be beneficial.

Key responsibilities will include processing supplier invoices, setting up suppliers, reconciling supplier accounts, supporting BACS payment runs, raising sales invoices and credit notes, posting receipts, processing bank transactions, supporting month-end journals and reconciliations, and responding to queries through the shared Accounts Office inbox.

This is a good opportunity for someone with an interest in developing a career in Finance and who is keen to contribute to the work of Tate.

Our jobs are like our galleries, open to all.
