What You'll Be Doing
- You'll be at the heart of the order journey, working with customers, suppliers, freight partners, and international offices to keep everything running seamlessly.
- Order & Quotation Management
- Process customer quotations and orders accurately, ensuring full compliance and correct documentation.
- Coordinate with suppliers and freight partners to meet agreed delivery timescales.
- Monitor stock levels and work with management to ensure product availability.
- Support the warehouse team with correct dispatch and packaging requirements.
- Track and resolve failed or delayed collections, maintaining accurate departmental records.
- Be a key point of contact for customer enquiries and quotation requests.
- Provide clear advice on product availability, delivery schedules, and alternatives when needed.
- Resolve issues promptly while maintaining excellent service standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with international customers and agents.
- Assist with stockholding, FIFO rotation, and resolving discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with the Company Quality Policy.
What You'll Bring
- Previous experience in logistics, order processing, or supply chain.
- Proven ability to manage quotations and orders from enquiry to delivery.
- Strong organisational skills and sharp attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Confident using Microsoft Office (Excel essential); SAGE experience is a bonus - training will be provided.
- Knowledge of export documentation and customs procedures is advantageous.
