Legal Assistant – Residential Property
Location: Winchester
Salary: c 23,700pa depending on experience
Our client is seeking a motivated Legal Assistant to join their Residential Property team. This role offers the opportunity to provide vital administrative support while becoming an integral member of a highly regarded team. Working 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday on a hybrid basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general office administration, including file management, billing, payment processing, and drafting correspondence.
- Assist secretaries with dictation and document preparation.
- Organise diaries, schedule meetings, and manage telephone enquiries.
- Draft, proofread, and review legal documents and reports.
- Maintain and organise case files efficiently.
- Respond to correspondence from clients, other firms, and agents.
- Manage administrative tasks related to property transactions, including exchange of contracts and completions.
- Handle post-completion processes, including lodging AP1 forms and monitoring requisitions.
Candidate Requirements:
- Confident IT skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Commercial awareness and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships across the firm.
- Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage.
