Responsibilities and Qualifications

  • Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
  • A strong team player with the ability to collaborate well with colleagues in a small team environment, while also being comfortable working independently when needed.
  • Willingness to travel to and from customer sites as part of the role, sometimes at short notice, to provide on-site service and support.
  • Occasional short-term working away from home will be required for specific projects or urgent tasks.
  • Required to participate in a call‑out rota (1 in 8 weeks), providing emergency service and support for clients.

Minimum Experience:

  • 2 years as a Roller Shutter Engineer, with a proven track record in servicing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Roller Shutter doors.
  • Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
  • Ability to work well in a small team or independently.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Successful security screening is required for this role.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Certifications such as DHF, IPAF, CSCS/ECS, FIA, or a City.
