Fully Office based- Hollingdean Depot
Monday to Friday- 35 hours per week
Tate recruitment are working alongside a local authority business looking for an HR Investigator to join their Advisory team based at Hollingdean Depot in Brighton.
Responsibilities:
- You be responsible for undertaking HR investigations on behalf of managers. This will include:
- Absence management
- Disciplinary
- Performance reviews
- Provide managers with advice on the management and resolution of people issues covering a wide range of HR areas
- Mitigating risk to the organisation whilst optimising resources to deliver highly effective and creative solutions
- To work in partnership with the client group to establish an excellent understanding of their service and the challenges they face to proactively identify opportunities for operational and strategic intervention
- To manage HR&OD casework and projects and provide a high quality, professional and solution-based service to clients.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
- The successful candidate will need to have experience dealing with investigations, undertaking interviews, drafting, convening and presenting cases at formal hearings.
- Degree qualified, or significant vocational experience demonstrating development through involvement in a series of progressively more demanding relevant work/roles.
- Professional qualification, or able to evidence knowledge and understanding of appropriate business disciplines such as HR, finance, law, marketing, communications.
- Knowledge of principles, practices, policies and procedures relating to business planning and financial and organisational management.
