We are currently recruiting for a temporary Shipping & Logistics Administrator to join a busy operations team over the summer period. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a fast-paced logistics and supply chain environment, with full training provided.
This role is particularly well suited to someone available for the full summer period and looking to build office-based experience.
Key responsibilities include:- Coordinating and booking deliveries with transport providers
- Accurately updating systems and tracking orders
- Communicating with customers, suppliers and internal teams via phone and email
- Supporting with queries and resolving any delivery or scheduling issues
- Assisting with basic reporting and administrative tasks
- Working collaboratively with the wider team to ensure efficient operations
- Availability to work from June through to September
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- A proactive, "can-do" attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment
- Valuable experience within a professional office environment
- Exposure to logistics and supply chain operations
