Events Catering Manager

Job Introduction

We are looking for a passionate, knowledgeable and experienced Events Catering Manager to join our team in London. Based at Tate Modern but working across sites, you will be responsible for all operational logistics surrounding the execution of catered events across Tate Eats. You will work with the sales team to create propositions that are profitable, achievable and sellable.

Tate Eats is a unique hospitality business that supports the vision and reach of Tate in all four of its galleries. All our profits are returned to Tate, championing the right to the richness of art for everyone.

The business runs restaurants, cafés, bars and delivers events from film premieres to boardroom lunches. We also have a pioneering roastery, brewing programmes and a multi award‑winning wine programme. We research and write menus in response to Tate’s diverse programme, and collaborate with artists and curators.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all operational logistics for catered events across Tate Eats.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop profitable and sellable propositions.
  • Ensure highest operating standards with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Communicate effectively and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Experience operating in a large, multi‑site, multi‑venue setting.
  • Passion for food & beverage, people and teamwork.
  • Meticulous eye for detail and drive for high operating standards.
  • Effective communicator with strong relationship‑building skills.
  • Comfortable and confident in overcoming challenges.

  • Salary: ÂŁ45,000 per annum + 10% performance‑related bonus
