This is a fantastic opportunity to become a Deputy Facilities Manager based in their York office.
What you'll be doing:
As Deputy Facilities Manager, you'll take ownership of the day‑to‑day running of our York site. You will ensure the building remains safe, welcoming and efficient for staff, visitors and tenants.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing facilities operations such as cleaning, security, repairs and maintenance
- Managing meeting rooms and liaising with tenants
- Ensuring the workplace is compliant, accessible, comfortable and well‑presented
- Working closely with and deputising for the Facilities Manager based in Newcastle when required
Experience required:
- Proven experience in a facilities management role
- A facilities management qualification or relevant building services, estate management or construction‑related qualification
- IOSH Occupational Health and Safety qualification (or equivalent)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence using IT systems, including MS Office and CAFM software
