Job Title: Temporary Kitchen Washer\\n\\nMy client is looking for someone to help in a busy school kitchen.\\n\\nDBS required\\n\\nLocation: School Kitchen / Catering Department\\n\\nReports to: Kitchen Supervisor / Catering Manager\\n\\nContract Type: Temporary / Casual 15th-18th Dec\\n\\nHours: 7am -2.30pm\\n\\nKey Responsibilities\\n\\nWash dishes, trays, cutlery, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using manual and/or automatic washing methods.\\n\\nMaintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, sinks, and drying stations.\\n\\nEnsure proper waste disposal and recycling following school policies.\\n\\nAssist with basic kitchen cleaning tasks such as wiping work surfaces, sweeping, and mopping floors.\\n\\nOperate dish-washing machinery safely and report any malfunctions.\\n\\nFollow food safety and hygiene procedures at all times (e.g., correct use of PPE, hand-washing, avoiding cross-contamination).\\n\\nSupport the catering team during busy periods, including setting up and clearing down as required.\\n\\nAdhere to safeguarding and health & safety policies in an environment with children present.\\n\\nPerson Specification\\n\\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment.\\n\\nDBS required\\nGood communication skills and ability to take instruction.\\n\\nReliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.\\n\\nAwareness of basic hygiene and cleanliness standards.\\n\\nPhysically capable of standing for long periods and handling modest lifting tasks.\\n\\nIf you are avaliable 15th -18th Dec and happy to support a school kitchen please upload your CV.\\n\\nPlease be aware this advert will remain open until the vacancy has been filled.
