This is a hands-on position responsible for managing material movement within a busy warehouse and supporting manufacturing operations. You will play a vital role in ensuring materials flow efficiently across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Booking goods in and out of the warehouse
- Checking deliveries against documentation for accuracy
- Picking materials for customer and manufacturing orders
- Line-side feeding to support production requirements
- Working closely with the dispatch team to ensure smooth operations
- Liaising with drivers in a friendly and professional manner
- Maintaining accurate stock records and supporting inventory control
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, goods-in, or material handling role is essential
- Forklift truck experience is desirable (training can be provided if needed)
- Exposure to MRP systems would be advantageous
- Strong communication skills and a team-focused approach
