Rate: Up to £800 per day (Inside IR35)

Location: Hampshire (Hybrid working)

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director Digital Strategy & Experience to lead a large digital function within a complex organisation on an interim basis. This role will take ownership of digital strategy, user experience, platforms, and delivery, while leading a review of the organisation's digital estate. You will assess current performance and play a key role in shaping the future operating model and structure of the digital function.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver effective, user-centred digital services, ensuring best practice, data-driven decision-making, and measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a digital function of circa 30 staff
  • Own the digital ecosystem, including platforms, services, and user experience
  • Lead a review of the digital estate and operating model
  • Drive digital transformation activity (scope evolving)
  • Oversee delivery across web, UX, frontend, and associated channels
  • Ensure digital services meet user and business needs
  • Use data and insight to monitor
Skills & Experience
  • Prior experience operating at Associate Director level (or equivalent)
  • Strong background in digital strategy, UX, and service delivery
  • Experience leading large, multidisciplinary digital teams
  • Proven experience owning or managing a digital function
