TEMP TO PERM Payroll and Benefits Officer Part time – four days a week – for the initial temporary assignment, you will be required to be in the office but once permanent, you will have the opportunity to work a hybrid model (two days a week in, two from home) £32,000 Location – close to Holborn We are working with a membership organisation based in Central London, who are seeking a Payroll and Benefits Officer to join their busy team on a part-time (four days a week), permanent basis. You will join well-established company, in a unique industry so this will be fantastic opportunity to step into something different. The main duties of the Payroll and Benefits officer role include: To process all aspects of payroll from start to finish including the payment of statutory allowances and the accurate payment of salaries Deal with employee salary and payroll queries Liaise with HR Assistant regarding new appointments, terminations and other relevant matters The collection and paying over of monthly pension contributions Liaise with HMRC where necessary on any PAYE, NI queries etc. Check for any tax code changes using HMRC’s Government Gateway Payroll month end and year end Review payroll policies and procedures, and suggest…
