We’re working with a well-respected professional organisation in the heart of Edinburgh who are looking for a friendly and reliable Temporary Administrative Assistant to join their team as soon as possible.
This is a great opportunity for someone with some admin experience who’s confident, organised, and happy to get stuck in. You’ll be joining a genuinely lovely team who will support you, but they’re looking for someone who can take initiative and work independently too.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be helping out with a mix of general office and admin tasks, including:
- Welcoming visitors and setting up meeting rooms
- Answering phones and monitoring shared inboxes
- Updating spreadsheets and internal systems
- Booking rooms and helping with meeting logistics
- Supporting events and general day-to-day office tasks
You might also lend a hand with committee support, member services, or facilities – so there’s plenty of variety.
What We’re Looking For
- Some previous admin experience (office, reception, or similar)
- A positive, can-do attitude and good communication skills
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Able to manage your time and work independently
