Hours: Full-time, office-based, 35 hours per week

Are you technically minded, good with people, and excited by the idea of taking products from concept to launch? This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone from an electronics background with hands-on experience working with electrical products such as lighting, home appliances, smart home devices, engineering, switches/sockets etc. We are hoping you will have been a Technical Manager, Technical Project Lead or a Product Manager previously or maybe even an Electrician looking for a change of career.

If you enjoy gathering technical information, translating it into clear product documentation, and steering projects through the development process, this could be an ideal next step.

About the Role

As a Product Executive, you'll sit at the centre of product development, working across engineering, marketing and sales. You will collect technical information on electrical products, components and control devices, understand it, and assist the Marketing team to translate it into clear, customer-ready content. You'll support product launches, help deliver the product roadmap, and ensure new products hit the market on time and to specification.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead product readiness for the introduction of new products, ensuring all technical inputs, requirements and pricing details are complete ahead of launch.
  • Gather and understand technical data on electrical products, components and control systems, translating this information for the Marketing team.
  • Manage weekly project meetings, ensuring actions, deadlines and deliverables are clearly documented.
  • Act as a key member within the project team from concept through to market launch.
  • Work with Marketing and Sales to define product positioning, technical applications and commercial objectives.
  • Maintain accurate technical product data, specifications, and performance claims.
  • Support marketing activities such as exhibitions, events, product launches and customer meetings - representing the product with confidence.

About You

You must be technically minded and comfortable working with product performance data, metrics and specifications (e.g. power consumption, efficiency, product performance measures).

Candidates from technical product environments such as mechanical, home appliances, tools, electricals, engineering, or other consumer/industrial products are strongly encouraged to apply.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience working with technical products and understanding technical metrics.
  • Ability to gather, interpret and translate technical information for non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working within project teams or Product Development environments.
  • Strong communication skills with excellent written and spoken English.
  • Personable, confident and comfortable engaging with customers at events and exhibitions.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Influential and collaborative, able to work effectively with engineering, marketing and sales teams.
  • Ideally a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 1+ years' experience in product management, product marketing, technical marketing, engineering support or a similar field.
