On behalf of our client, a leading UK infrastructure business, we are looking for an experienced Sustainability Reporting Lead to join their sustainability team.
Sustainability is at the core of our client’s strategy, with a clear vision outlined in their long-term plan to address the most material environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues. The Sustainability Reporting Lead will play a pivotal role in shaping how the business reports progress both internally and externally — ensuring transparency, accountability, and alignment with leading global standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the production of the organisation’s annual Sustainability Report, overseeing content, design, data collection and assurance.
- Managing ESG reporting for the Annual Report & Accounts and quarterly financial disclosures.
- Coordinating internal sustainability reporting for Executive and Board Committees.
- Overseeing ESG data management processes and internal controls.
- Advising on regulatory developments and evolving disclosure frameworks (e.g. ISSB, TNFD).
- Managing submissions to key ESG indices, benchmarks, and stakeholder assessments.
- Providing secretariat support to the Executive Sustainability Sub-Committee.
- Conducting annual reviews of sustainability governance effectiveness.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Extensive experience in sustainability reporting and corporate ESG disclosure.
- Strong communication and writing skills, with a track record of producing engaging reports.
- Solid understanding of frameworks such as ISSB, TCFD, and TNFD.
- High level of data literacy and experience managing ESG data in a large, complex organisation.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and engage with senior stakeholders, including Executive and Board-level audiences.
Desirable:
- Experience within infrastructure, aviation, or similarly regulated industries.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take a lead role in shaping and delivering a major UK business’s sustainability reporting agenda — with influence across the organisation and visibility at the highest level.
If you have Sustainability Reporting experience and your experience aligns with the above requirements, please apply today without delay.
