We’re hiring a Receptionist & Office Administrator in London for a full-time, office-based role in Waterloo. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a rapidly expanding construction consultancy firm and play a key role in keeping everything running seamlessly behind the scenes!

About the Role: This is a varied, hands-on position combining front-of-house responsibilities, office coordination, and administrative support. You will work closely with senior stakeholders and support the wider team as the business continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Front of House
    • Welcoming clients, visitors, and suppliers in a professional manner
    • Managing incoming calls, deliveries, and post
    • Preparing meeting rooms and ensuring they are presentation-ready
    • Coordinating refreshments and catering for meetings
  • Office Administration
    • Supporting day-to-day administrative tasks
    • Acting as a central point of contact for office queries
    • Assisting with onboarding and offboarding processes
    • Managing invoices, receipts, and general office administration
  • Office Coordination & Supplies
    • Monitoring and ordering office supplies and stock
    • Coordinating deliveries and supplier relationships
    • Supporting team events, meetings, and socials
  • Facilities & Office Management
    • Maintaining a clean, organised, and professional office environment
    • Troubleshooting minor office equipment issues
    • Supporting office setup, improvements, and ongoing expansion
  • Compliance Support
    • Assisting with health and safety checks
    • Liaising with contractors and service providers
    • Supporting overall operational efficiency

About You

  • Previous experience in a receptionist, office administration, or similar role
  • Confident and professional communication skills
  • Strong organisational ability with attention to detail
  • A proactive, hands-on approach
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

Desirable: Experience supporting senior leadership or working within a growing business environment.
