A leading law firm based in Bromsgrove is seeking an experienced Paralegal paying between £24,000 – £26,000 plus benefits to join their growing team.
The Paralegal role will be supporting the Residential Conveyancing team with all of their background administration behind the cases, so conveyancing experience would be advantageous.
Please note due to the structure of the team, this is a fully on-site position, but free parking will be provided.
Duties to include the following:
File Management & Client Onboarding
- Open new files, verify ID and source of funds.
- Maintain accurate records and case management systems.
Pre-Contract Work
- Order and review property searches.
- Investigate title and raise enquiries.
- Draft contracts and reports for clients.
Exchange & Completion
- Liaise with clients, solicitors, agents, and lenders.
- Prepare completion statements and coordinate fund transfers.
- Ensure all documents are signed and executed properly.
Post-Completion
- Submit SDLT returns and register property with HM Land Registry.
- Finalise billing and close files.
General Support
- Handle correspondence and phone calls.
- Assist solicitors with drafting and compliance tasks.
The ideal candidate will come from a conveyancing background and will look to join a really great team. You will have experience in pre and post completion and will be looking to develop in this area. You will be a strong administration skills, great client engagement and the ability to work to pace.
