We're hiring for an experienced Delivery Project Manager to join a critical programme on a short-term contract basis.
This is a hands-on role for someone who can quickly assess the current state, bring structure to delivery plans, and drive alignment across multiple workstreams to ensure key project milestones are achieved.
You'll be the link between the IT workstream and the wider programme, ensuring technical activities, testing, training, SOPs/LOPs, and business readiness activities are planned, coordinated, and delivered in line with project deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and assess existing project and workstream plans.
- Identify, manage and track dependencies across IT, testing, training, operational readiness, SOP and LOP workstreams.
- Establish clear ownership, accountability and reporting across workstreams.
- Proactively identify delivery risks, issues and gaps, implementing corrective actions where required.
- Produce and maintain integrated plans, milestone tracking and progress reporting.
- Support programme leadership with planning, governance and delivery assurance.
About You
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership from day one.
- Strong experience coordinating technical or IT-focused teams without needing to be a technical specialist.
- Demonstrable success delivering projects to fixed deadlines in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to challenge, influence and drive progress.
- Strong planning and organisational skills, with experience creating or realigning project plans.
- Ability to quickly understand delivery challenges, identify gaps and implement practical solutions.
This is an urgent requirement for a proactive Delivery Project Manager who can quickly establish control, improve cross-workstream alignment, and ensure key milestones remain on track.
The role would suit someone who excels at bringing clarity, structure and momentum to projects that require immediate intervention.
