I am delighted to be working with a prestigious IT company in London who is a leading provider of fully managed IT support, cyber security, and strategic technology services. They are looking for a Procurement Manager and in this key role, you’ll lead a team of three procurement professionals, driving cost efficiency, operational excellence, and outstanding customer service across internal teams and client accounts. You’ll combine hands‑on procurement expertise and reporting experience with team leadership, ensuring smooth financial and operational processes that support a fast‑paced, tech‑focused business.

Due to the nature of the role, experience within IT services or IT category procurement is essential as are excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to be informative and firm as required.

Key responsibilities:
  • Management of the Procurement team as well as taking a hands‑on role in key procurement activities
  • Client invoicing (regular ad hoc invoicing throughout the month in addition to management of the main monthly run)
  • Ad hoc procurement requests for clients, sourcing, quoting, purchasing
  • Vendor relationship management; including selection, onboarding, performance monitoring and issue resolution
  • On boarding and off‑boarding customers
  • Product catalogue and pricing maintenance, including standardisation and simplification
  • Logistics of shipments between vendors, clients and our offices
  • Defining, monitoring and reporting on Procurement KPIs
  • Management and maturing of procurement processes
  • Working with colleagues in other teams to leverage the existing tool set to streamline and automate procurement processes

Previous team management/leadership experience is required along with strong vendor management negotiation and relationship management experience. A strong background in invoicing, procurement cycles, and process management is essential, as well as experience working with international vendors and clients. Strong attention to detail and highly organised individuals are encouraged to apply.
