We are seeking an immediately available and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our client on a 3-month temporary assignment based in Canary Wharf. This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional who can hit the ground running and manage a complex payroll environment with confidence and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end processing of payroll for 400+ employees across multiple entities.
  • Ensuring payroll is processed accurately and in line with company policies and statutory requirements.
  • Managing payroll queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Liaising directly with line managers and key stakeholders to gather and verify payroll information.
  • Processing starters, leavers, salary changes, bonuses, deductions, and statutory payments.
  • Producing payroll reports and supporting payroll audits where required.
  • Maintaining payroll records and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Proven experience managing payroll for 400+ employees.
  • Experience processing payroll across 10+ entities.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to manipulate and analyse large volumes of data using formulas, pivot tables, and reporting functions.
  • Strong communication skills with the confidence to work closely with line managers and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Available to start at short notice.
