Join to apply for the Export Administrator role at Tate Recruitment. Tate Hitchin are recruiting for an Export Administrator for an established manufacturing business based in Hitchin. This is a permanent position, 100% office‑based in Hitchin (SG5), paying £26‑28,000. Working 37 hours a week Monday to Friday with the option to choose a starting time between 7.30 am and 9 am. The business closes early on Fridays.

Typical Responsibilities & Duties

  • Give clerical support for order fulfilment and finance teams
  • Input client quotations onto an ERP business management system and SAP
  • Produce and collate export shipping documentation
  • Collate documentation for Letters of Credit and Bank Guarantees for export invoicing
  • Input staff cards and attendance information onto the company's staff and attendance system
  • Answer the telephone
  • Manage DHL dispatches
  • Arrange lunches and travel for visitors
  • Run local errands

As our ideal person you will

  • Ideally have experience with export documentation
  • Have a confident working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Be well‑organised with excellent communication skills
  • Have a good work ethic and be self‑motivated
  • Work well as part of a team and be willing to support and cooperate
