2- 3 month contract - PAYE
We're looking for a hands on IT Helpdesk Support Engineer to join a busy education environment in Central London on a temporary basis.
You'll be the primary onsite IT support contact for staff and students, providing a high level of customer service across hardware, software, AV and classroom technology. This is a varied role where no two days are the same, supporting over 350 users across a large teaching environment.
Key responsibilities:
- 1st/2nd line IT support for staff and students
- Troubleshooting hardware, software and connectivity issues
- Laptop builds, deployments and asset management
- Supporting Microsoft 365, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams
- User account administration (Active Directory and Azure AD)
- Supporting Brightspace VLE and other education systems
- AV and classroom technology support
- Managing tickets through the helpdesk system and maintaining accurate records
- Supporting printers, mobile devices and peripheral equipment
Requirements:
- Previous IT Helpdesk, IT Support or Service Desk experience
- Strong Microsoft 365 knowledge
- Experience with Active Directory and Azure AD
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable providing face to face support in a classroom environment
- Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload
- Experience in working in the education sector
Additional information:
- Based onsite in Central London (E1)
- Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm
- Enhanced DBS required
- Looking for someone who can start around the second week of November
